Gold Standard Web (“Gold Standard Web,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website or use our products and services — including Ryzor — and how we use, share, and protect it.
1 Who we are
Gold Standard Web is a software company based in Bristol, Wisconsin, United States, and is the provider of Ryzor and related products and services (collectively, the “Services”). For any privacy questions, contact us at privacy@goldstandardweb.com.
2 Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
Information you provide
- Account information — such as your name, email address, business name, and password when you create an account.
- Billing information — such as your billing name, address, and the details needed to process payments. Card numbers are handled by our payment processor and are not stored on our servers (see Section 4).
- Content you submit — the business details, text, images, and preferences you enter to generate or manage websites through our Services.
- Communications — information you provide when you contact us for support, respond to a survey, or otherwise correspond with us.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data — how you interact with the Services, such as pages viewed, features used, and actions taken.
- Device and log data — such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, and access times.
- Cookies and similar technologies — as described in Section 6.
3 How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services;
- Create and manage your account and authenticate you;
- Process transactions and send related information, including receipts and billing notices;
- Generate, deliver, and support the websites and outputs you create;
- Respond to your requests, questions, and support needs;
- Send administrative messages, updates, security alerts, and — where permitted — marketing communications you can opt out of;
- Monitor and analyze usage and trends to improve product quality and user experience;
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical issues; and
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
4 Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc., a third-party payment processor. When you make a payment, your card and payment details are collected and processed directly by Stripe under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive or store your full card number. We receive limited transaction information (such as the last four digits of your card, card brand, billing details, and payment status) needed to manage your account and subscription. You can review Stripe’s privacy practices at stripe.com/privacy.
5 How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:
- Service providers — with vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as payment processing, hosting, email delivery, and analytics, under obligations to protect your information.
- Legal and safety — when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Gold Standard Web, our users, or others.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
- With your direction — when you ask us to share information or make content public.
6 Cookies and tracking
We and our providers use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, understand how the Services are used, and improve them. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect how the Services function.
7 Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, and thereafter as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it.
8 Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9 Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, update, or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@goldstandardweb.com. We will respond consistent with applicable law.
10 International users
We are based in the United States, and the Services are operated from the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
11 Children’s privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
12 Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
